Amazon’s logistics center at Dos Hermanas

The company expects to create over 1,000 new permanent jobs over the next three years

The new logistics center of Amazon Robotics in Dos Hermanas (Seville), first opened by this USA multinational corporation in Andalusia, aims to satisfy the increasing demand of consumers and to support small- and medium-sized enterprises wishing to market their products on this platform. “We are delighted to serve Amazon clients in Spain and the rest of Europe from our new robotized centers, equipped with the latest technology", state Amazon representatives.

The center uses the avant-garde technology of Amazon Robotics, allowing employees to minimize the time they spend between different site locations by literally bringing shelves closer to them. The center also employs technological solutions relating to power savings with the aim to reduce its footprint, including solar panels, low-consumption platforms, power and hear recovery systems, as well as high thermal efficiency materials to optimize isolation.
