Simulation of New Complex.

This project aims to turn old tobacco factory next to Guadalquivir River into new business and service complex.

The City Hall of Seville has just agreed with Altadis, company owned by British Imperial Tobacco since 2008, the sale of the lot. After that, an agreement sealed with international investors has paved the way for KKH to invest 200 million euros in the refurbishment of the old factory and its surroundings (5 hectares) with the intent to build an urbanized complex including a hotel, park, walkway over the Guadalquivir River, cultural and communal amenities, as well as an area of innovation and entrepreneurship initiatives.

This public-private collaboration project is considered an opportunity for the city and embraces an urban planning model which intends to favor greater economic activity supported by sustainability, innovation and restoration of the city’s heritage. KKH Property Investors, investment group from Catalonia, specializes in the development of complex, quality real state projects. The company’s investment pattern is selective and seeks excellence, individual projects (instead of large real state portfolios), environmental awareness and heritage protection.
