The presence in Andalusia of Airbus, the world\u2019s main plane manufacturer in 2019, has attracted many national Tiers 1 (Aciturri, Alestis & Aernnova) and Tiers 2 and 3 to our region, all of them characterized by their high level of specialization. Furthermore, Andalusian factories manufacture plane components for other top players in the aircraft industry, such as Embrader, Boeing and Bombardier. This industry provides direct employment to 15,000 highly qualified professionals, as well as to many other workers who carry out supply and auxiliary services in dozens of sectoral companies.<\/p>\n

Andalusia stands out as a preferential destination for MRO (Maintenance, Repair and Operation) activities thanks to its high technical level and favorable weather conditions, with around 350 days of sunshine a year. These characteristics, together with the availability of modern training facilities, make our region an ideal destination for flight schools (preferably in Seville, Malaga, Jerez and Cordoba).<\/p>\n\t

High-Flown Manufacture<\/strong><\/h3>\n

One of Airbus\u2019 three European Final Assembly Lines (FAL) is in Andalusia, where one of the world’s largest military planes is assembled.<\/p>\n\t

Innovative Aeronautical Testing<\/strong><\/h3>\n

Andalusia is a leader in unmanned flight systems, partly due to ATLAS, an experimental flight center with its own segregated airspace for testing purposes.<\/p>\n\t

Seville was chosen for the first time as European capital of the aerospace industry, hosting in 2019 the Ministerial Council of ESA (European Space Agency) due to the relevance of its aerospace industry and for the firm commitment of the Andalusian Government (Junta), which has a Strategic Aeronautics Industry Plan that provides stability and confidence to sectoral firms. The Junta also offers companies the possibility of benefiting from the highest incentives available in the EU, and has promoted the construction of scientific and technological parks specializing in the aerospace industry: Aer\u00f3polis, Tecnobah\u00eda & PTA, CATEC, CFA and ATLAS. <\/p>\n

Other sector areas in which Andalusia is a key player are its top-level infrastructures, great capacity to produce, assemble and launch satellites, aeronautics engineering, aerospace consultancy services and competitive costs.
