Reasons
to invest

Tourism is the second most important industry within Andalusia’s economy, accounting for 13% of the regional GDP and being known for quality services and safety levels not attained by any other region worldwide. Nearly 30 million people (three-fold the Andalusian population) visit our region annually for a number of reasons, including our climate, culture, landscapes, accessibility, as well as the variety and quality of our offer. A key aspect of visiting tourists is that many come to learn more about Andalusia and end up as residents!

Although the beaches and monumental towns of Andalusia used to be our main attraction, over the last few years other tourist industry segments have established themselves as a selling point for visitors and investment, namely rural and inland tourism archaeological and historical tourism, healthcare and congress and business tourism. The fact that the WTTC and MRO congresses were held in our region in 2019 clearly shows the relevance of this industry.

Andalusia Connects Worldwide

Andalusia is an ideal location to test and validate new technologies applied to the tourism industry, as it is one of the main destinations in Europe and Spanish region most visited by national tourists.

If You Come…You Won't Leave

A feature differentiating Andalusia from other tourist destinations is that many people who visit…end up choosing our region as their new place of residence.

Business Tourism

Congress tourism has increased significantly partly due to our excellent infrastructures, qualified professionals and favorable climate.
