AliExpress begins operations in Andalusia

The Chinese multinational corporation is preparing to arrive in Seville, at the Lagoh mall

AliExpress España further commits to Spain, only country worldwide where it operates this type of store permanently, doubling its number of establishments over the next few months. The Chinese company, subsidiary of the Asian giant Alibaba, will open its first store in Seville (Lagoh) before November 11. AliExpress representatives in Spain say that «we are firmly committed to an onmi-channel strategy and our goal is to open more stores and explore new categories. Despite the pandemic, we continue to have thousands of visitors daily».

The company considers their stores play a key role to increase brand awareness and increase the traffic of buyers in the AliExpress universe. In parallel, AliExpress has unfolded a plan to triple the number of lockers in Spain, where the existing number is 200 and the company aims to reach 600 before the end of the year, with a clear focus on increasing their presence in large cities, including those in Andalusia.
