Expansion of Aldi's logistics infrastructure in Andalusia

The existing warehouse at Dos Hermanas will expand from 26,636 square meters to 40,676

The supermarket chain Aldi will expand its logistics platform in Dos Hermanas, Seville, with the aim to reinforce the logistics services provided to its regional network of 80 supermarkets.

The logistics platform expansion will use 10,000 square meters for non-refrigerated storage and 4,000 square meters to cold storage. In addition, the existing 46 loading docks will be complemented by an additional 11 cold docks and 14 dry docks, thus increasing the total number to 71. The new premises will be equipped with photovoltaic panels and low-consumption LED lights. The refrigerated area will use natural coolants such as carbon dioxide or ammonia, which are more efficient and sustainable.
