Future Conrad hotel in Costa del Sol
The chain is working with the Platinum Estates fund to manage a hotel in Costa del Sol in early 2022
The hotel chain will invest about €70 million to open in the town of Casares in early 2022 the hotel Conrad Costa del Sol, with 194 rooms, a spa, multiple pools and restaurants. Hilton Worldwide, US firm founded 96 years ago and owner of 4.440 hotels under management, franchise, ownership and lease regime, has over 730,000 rooms in 97 countries and territories, as well as a dozen brands, including Conrad.
With regards to this new project, Andalusian tourist sector authorities say the inauguration of this hotel “speaks volumes about the tourist and investment appeal of Andalusia”. This luxury hotel, Hilton’s first one under the Conrad brand en Casares, confirms that Costa del Sol “continues to be an attractive place for international hotel companies”. The luxury segment has tremendous potential in Costa del Sol and receives over a half million visitors yearly, with an average expenditure of €600 daily per tourist and an overall trip budget ranging between €3,000 and €50,000.
