This investment is aimed at purchasing luxury hotel Los Monteros

The iconic luxury hotel Los Monteros has been transfered into Stoneweg Hospitality y Bain Capital Credit, allowing this investment fund to own corporate group which operates Hotel Los Monteros Spa & Golf Resort, in Marbella. This is their second purchase in Costa del Sol after acquiring at the end of 2021 Andalucía Plaza in Puerto Banús, which is currently being renovated to become the Hard Rock Hotel Marbella.

Stoneweg Hospitality representatives say that Los Monteros is an institution in Marbella’s hotel market and an excellent opportunity to position the hotel as a preferred destination in the luxury segment, through a facility upgrade and active asset management program. The hotel was originally built in 1962. With this purchase, Stoneweg, real estate investment platform headquartered in Geneva, reinforces its presence in Costa del Sol. To date, Stoneweg, which has local management offices in Spain, Switzerland, United States, Italy, Andorra and Ireland, has completed over 300 operations amounting to nearly €5 billion.
