InnoEnergy, European investment fund, enters share capital of research and production company Scoobic

InnoEnergy has acquired participations in the share capital of Scoobic Urban Mobility, with the aim to erect 2,000-m2 facilities in Seville in which €12 million will be invested and electric “last-mile” delivery vehicles will be manufactured. The project will initially employ 160 people, reaching 500 in 2025. The aim of Scoobic, whose vehicles are used by clients such as Bridgestone, Revoolt (Alcampo) and Mission Box, is to move its 100% electric vehicle factory from China to Seville in late 2021. With the aim to continue its international expansion, Scoobic now sells and offers an after-sale service for its electric vehicles in the more than 3,000 workshops of First Stop, company within the Bridgestone corporation.

InnoEnergy, company supported by the European Institute of Innovation and Technology, specializes in sustainable energy development projects in Europe. The participation of InnoEnergy provides international and financial support to the project of Scoobic, which was awarded the EC excellence certificate both at an economic and industrial level. “This certificate is a guarantee of quality for worldwide investors assessing the value of our project”, say company representatives.
