MRO Line in Seville

Budget of €5.13 million for the next two years, scalable to €11.32 in four years.

Indra and Airbus have been awarded the Air Force agreement for military plan engineering and maintenance services at Maestranza Aérea, Seville. This agreement includes operational maintenance of military transport aircrafts C295, C235, C-212 Aviocar, C-130 Hércules, fighter jet F-18 Hornet, training reactors T-35 Tamiz and F-33 Bonanza, as well as submarine fighter planes PO3 Orion.

Thanks to this new contract, Seville further consolidates itself as a reference in the areas of maintenance, repairs and aeronautical operations (MRO), with similar Airbus centers next to the San Pablo airport for military transport planes A400M, C295 and CN235, which are assembled at the Final Assembly Line (FAL) of the aeronautical constructor. Also next to Seville’s airport Ryanair has one of its most important MRO bases in Europe. Over the next few years, the airline plans to double the size of these recently commissioned facilities.
