Patria's training planes
This Finnish company has signed a 5-year contract with Qatar Airways to train pilots in their Cordoba Center
Training will be based on the Multiple Pilot License (MPL) program, which includes flight training sessions and was specifically designed by Patria for Qatar Airways. This training agreement with Qatar Airways, one of the largest, most awarded airlines worldwide, is essential to Patria's strategy to grow by training international pilots.
The pilot school, set up in Cordoba thanks to the work of Invest in Andalucia, began training pilots at the Cordoba Airport in August 2019. The Patria Group, which landed in Andalusia due to our region’s weather conditions and operational costs, is owned by the Finnish state (50.1%), Kongsber Defense and Aerospace AS from Norway (49,.9%). In 2018, the net profit of the Patria Group was €476.1 million, with a workforce of 2,800 employees.
